Emergencies, Funerals & Social Events
Parking Control - Tel: 020 8937 4995 - can also be used for emergencies and funeral arrangements (dispensation will be given for the cortège but not for the "wake").

For parties and family gatherings the council requests up to four weeks notice.

Illegal and Inconsiderate
The Highway Code prohibits parking that would endanger, inconvenience or obstruct pedestrians or other road users. Examples given include near the brow of a hill and on a bend. 

If vehicles are parked on the pavement or grass verge in your road - ring the Council's Parking Hotline - 020 8937 4999 or 020 8937 4995

Please provide the operator with the type and colour of the vehicle, and the registration number. 

Note that Beverley Gardens and Midholm are exempt and vehicles are allowed to park with two wheels on their pavements, providing that there is enough room for a pram or wheelchair to get past. 

Brent Council's StreetCare is generally responsible for enforcing parking restriction in the borough. This includes issuing of parking tickets, clamping and removal of illegally parked vehicles. Email: streetcare@brent.gov.uk 

Metropolitan Police
The Metropolitan Police should be contacted when there are no yellow lines enforced by the Council's parking attendants and, parked vehicles are causing an obstruction, For example:

  • Blocking junctions
  • Blocking corners
  • Blocking pram crossings
  • Blocking driveways
